The announcement bar is its own section in the header group, above the header. It holds up to five short messages, and either rotates through them or lets guests step through with arrows.
Settings
- Color scheme. The demo uses scheme 5, the ink scheme, so the bar reads as a thin dark line above the page.
- Rotate announcements every, 0 to 15 seconds. With more than one message, the bar advances on this interval, pauses while the pointer is over it, and never autoplays for visitors who ask their device for reduced motion. Set it to 0 to show only the first announcement, with arrows for the rest.
- Show social media icons adds the icons from Theme settings → Social media to the right of the bar.

Announcement blocks
Each block has a Text and an optional Link. Keep the text to one line: on a phone the bar is narrow and long messages wrap. With a link, the whole message becomes a link.
Removing it
Delete the section from the header group, or hide it with the eye icon, when there is nothing to announce. An empty bar with the default text is the first thing a reviewer or a guest notices.
